NCO bridges Colombia and Brazil on “Ai Ai Ai”

“Ai Ai Ai”, the new single by Colombian DJ, producer and instrumentalist NCO, is out now via Beleza and Tomorrowland Music. The track builds a bridge between two sonic worlds he is deeply passionate about. It all started in the studio, shortly after NCO took classes on traditional Brazilian music at his university. Captivated by its rhythmic richness and the warmth of its vocals, he set out to bring that texture to the dance floor. The real challenge lay in fusing that organic, vibrant energy with a darker, rawer and more minimalist foundation drawn from indie tech and the underground scene. His upcoming tour in Brazil became the ultimate driving force, turning the track into a sonic preview of that trip and a tribute to the energy of Brazilian culture.

NCO is leading a new wave of Colombian and Latin electronic music. Deeply rooted in his heritage, he blends Latin house and indie tech with traditional Colombian rhythms, Spanish vocals and organic instrumentation. With his Hybrid Live Piano Set format, he has played Colombia’s biggest festivals, including Ritvales, and taken his show to Mexico, Bolivia, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Indonesia, where he handed over the decks to Nico De Andrea in Bali. His project is backed by leading names including Keinemusik’s Adam Port and Rampa, Marten Lou, Nico De Andrea, Luch and Beleza co-founder Malive.

Beleza, Portuguese for beauty, is the label founded by Brazilian artists unfazed and Malive in partnership with Tomorrowland Music. Since its launch in July with unfazed’s “So What”, followed by “Solar Skin (feat. jasper.wav)” by Carlita and Malive, the label has built a home for electronic music with character and authorship. With “Ai Ai Ai”, NCO adds a Latin American perspective to a catalog rooted in Brazilian house.
