After first meeting at Amsterdam Dance Event during KARTY’s ‘KARTY & FRIENDS’ party last year, the pair instantly clicked, blending SUBSHIFT’s signature tech house blueprint with KARTY’s infectious, groove-heavy energy. The result: a peak-time weapon made to ignite any dancefloor.
“We first connected online and finally met in person at ADE last year,” says KARTY. “Now, exactly a year later, we’re dropping this track together, it feels full circle.”
‘Rockin’ With’ delivers everything you want from a late-night banger, rolling basslines, hypnotic percussion, and a second drop that hits harder than expected.
“That long bass in the second drop was inspired by dubstep. I guess I still have a bit of that in me,” SUBSHIFT shares. “It bangs every time I play it. The first time I dropped it, the crowd went crazy and everyone was jumping.”
With performances at Tomorrowland Belgium, Ushuaïa Ibiza and Ministry of Sound, SUBSHIFT continues to define the new era of tech house. His productions have earned heavy support from Acraze, James Hype, Solardo, MK, and BBC Radio 1.
Meanwhile, KARTY is emerging as one of Asia’s most exciting electronic acts. Known for his genre-fluid, high-energy sets, he’s performed at EDC, NEON Countdown, It’s The Ship, and iconic venues like WOMB Tokyo, Zouk, and CÉ LA VI carving his own path in the global house and techno scene.
‘Rockin’ With’ embodies everything both artists stand for: global connection and a forward-thinking sound. The track already gaining early support and downloads from Gorgon City (EDC), Wax Motif, HILLS, and Noizu.
‘Rockin’ With’ drops just as SUBSHIFT kicks off his Australia tour, while KARTY continues to take his ‘KARTY & FRIENDS’ party global, with recent editions in Belgium, Amsterdam, Ibiza, Vietnam, and Thailand.
